Opsys Ltd - now Cambridge Display Technology
Originally spun-out of the University of Oxford in 1997 to advance cutting edge light emitting technology for flat displays, Opsys Ltd merged with Cambridge Display Technology Ltd (CDT) in October 2002.
Cambridge Display Technology is now a subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical Company following its requisition for $285m completed in September 2007.
