Oxford Lasers was founded by a group of Physicists from Oxford University whose research had been directed towards the study of new, yet practical, laser devices. They were among the first in the world to carry out fundamental development of copper halide, nitrogen and excimer lasers in the early 1970s, work which directly led to the establishment of the company in 1977.
Oxford Lasers supplies Industry and Universities with Laser Micromachines systems for high speed imaging systems for particle droplet and bubble size measurement spray pattern analysis and flow visualisation.
